About Annie Cross
I am a printmaker who focuses on Etchings and Lino Prints. The main inspiration behind most of my prints are the beautiful landscapes and beauty spots around Sussex. You will see in my etchings that I use lots of natural textures and plants/foliage to capture the nature and wildlife that is so evident around us. I collect these constantly and am always thinking about how to intertwine the real things into my take on the landscape or view that I am interpreting. By the nature of printmaking, each print is completely unique and irreplaceable - every print is an original. There is no digital equipment involved in this traditional process, lovingly hand-made in the studio or at home. I offer all prints mounted and framed if wanted and can deliver locally. Printmaking is both a science and an art, and it presents us all with limitless possibilities to create representations of the things that inspire us most.
