About Pottersbarbrighton
I make handmade contemporary porcelain and stoneware ceramics in my Kemptown studio just over the road from the beach. My work blurs the boundaries between conventional pottery and sculpture that tells a narrative as well as serves a function. I draw inspiration from the beach and include driftwood in my pieces and use sea-battered shells and other sea-shore treasures to create form and texture.
