About Emma Spalding Art
I work in acrylic to create bright, illustrative paintings - many of which are available as prints. I enjoy experimenting and exploring ideas. I’m inspired by colour and the beauty of the natural world and I love the idea of bringing the outside inside. Although most of my work has been in acrylic, more recent pieces of work have included watercolour sketches and collage designs (part of a project I’m working on in a primary school). I have completed several commission pieces and enjoy working with customers to create a gift or piece of art for their home. I see the cards I make as mini pieces of art; each one is unique, as it is moulded with polymer clay, baked and mounted onto card to create great vibrant designs for any occasion. These can be personalised and tailored to customer requirements.
